The objective of this Level 3 qualification is to support a role in the workplace. It is designed for any person who wishes to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a Close Protection Operative.
Due to licence integration, learners can also apply for a licence to become a door supervisor.

The Level 2 Award for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) has been developed for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a close protection operative and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualifications requirements.

The course will conclude with candidates undertaking a practical assessment and multi-choice examination, the successful completion of which will result in the awarding of a QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) which is an Ofqual Regulated Qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards. Group bookings minimum of 6.

Who is this qualification for?

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first-aid.

How long will it take?

3 Days with a minimum contact time of 18 hours.

The course will conclude with candidates undertaking a practical assessment and multi-choice examination, the successful completion of which will result in the awarding of a QA Level 3 certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) which is an Ofqual Regulated Qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards.

Qualification Details:

The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Upon successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first-aid in emergency situations.

How long will it take?

1 day, with a minimum contact time(MCT) of 7 hours.

Qualification Details:

This course gives your staff the skills to resolve conflict effectively and respectfully. Not all customer facing roles are the same, and sometimes dealing with the public can have its challenges, particularly when handling issues and complaints.

 

The Level 2 Award in Conflict Management (RQF) has been designed to provide conflict management skills to anyone working in a customer facing role dealing with service users or the public in general.

 

It is applicable to a wide range of sectors and can be taken by anyone requiring a better understanding of how to prevent conflict from arising, or would like to feel more confident in being able to deal with challenging situations.

Topics covered:

  • How communication can be used to solve problems and reduce the likelihood of conflict.

  • The factors that influence human responses in conflict situations

  • How to assess and reduce risks in conflict situations

  • How to communicate effectively and de-escalate conflict in emotive situations

  • Good practice to follow after conflict situations

How long will it take?

This will take 2 days to complete.
